SWBOCES recognizes that the financial investment in quality training is a concern for many students. Listed below are possible sources of assistance. If you need more information, call the agencies listed below.
SWBOCES does not qualify or approve individuals for funding by the agencies listed below. These listings are provided for informational purposes only.
Refund Policy: All refund requests must be made in writing. If a student withdraws from class before the first day class begins, no tuition liability will be incurred; a $15 processing fee will be deducted from the refund. If a student withdraws from class after the first day of class and 24 hours before the second class, 75% of the tuition will be refunded, less a $15 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after the second day of class. Refunds, other than charge cards (Visa/Mastercard), take four to six weeks to be processed. There are no exceptions to this policy. These agencies, in many counties and localities, oversee the use of job-training funds. Workforce Investment Offices are an excellent source of many services for people looking for work or training.
If you have a documented disability: ACCES - VR
Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (formerly VESID) is a division of the New York State Education Department and provides assistance to individuals with disabilities. ACCES-VR offices are located in most counties.

Are you are CSEA member looking to gain skills and training? You may be eligible for tuition vouchers. SWBOCES accepts CSEA vouchers as payment.
If you or a family member are a veteran: Veterans Benefits
If you have served your country in the US Military, contact your local Veteran's Administration Office to find out what benefits you may be entitled to receive.
If you are younger than 25, you may qualify for W-DAY funding
Payment Plans
Payment Plans are available for students paying out-of-pocket tuition over $1,000. There is a $25 non-refundable processing fee for all installation/payment plans.

Hope Scholarship Credit

FREE TRAINING for City of White Plains Residents/Income Qualified & COVID impacted
Through a generous Community Development Block Grant made available through the City of White Plains, this school year. we are providing job training for qualified applicants. This opportunity of first come-first served. A total of $20,000 is available. Only one course per participant will be approved.

Transportation Aid Available to Qualifying Westchester County Residents
Transportation aid is available to Westchester County residents earning under 200% of the poverty level.
